Ohio Department of Education Learning Supports

School districts may request a waiver related to service options in paragraphs (E)(2)(a) through (E)(2)(e) of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) 3301.51.15.  The Gifted Waiver may be submitted for either of the following scenarios:  

1. To report the implementation of a gifted service that does not conform to the minute requirements described in the Operating Standards because of the daily schedule for all content courses;
2. To report that the district will be out of compliance with class size and caseload requirements (which may not all be approved).
