Changing behavior to provide positive and protective learning environments was the theme for a professional development day Held Sept. 24 to respond to bullying, harassment and intimidation in schools.
Participants learned new ideas and received resources to help identify, prevent and respond to bullying, harassment and intimidation. Featured speakers for this event were Dr. Dennis Embry and Dr. David Osher. The event was sponsored by the Ohio Departments of Education, Health, Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Addiction, Ohio Attorney General, the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, the US Department of Education Office of Civil Rights, eTech Ohio and the Mental Health Network for School Success.
