CTE Career Field, Program, Subject Crosswalk

This crosswalk displays all secondary workforce development CTE/Tech Prep programs in each of the 16 career fields.  For each program, there is a list of all the possible CTE subjects that can comprise that program.  This crosswalk is an essential tool to help school districts:

  • Identify the “CTE Program of Concentration” for each CTE Concentrator for EMIS reporting; and
  • Complete a CTE-26 Application for a secondary workforce development CTE/Tech Prep program.

How FY2012 Secondary CTE Programs link to postsecondary
CTE Program codes are used by secondary education to classify programs of study. Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) is a national system of coding that is used by postsecondary education to categorize areas of study. This crosswalk identifies alignment of Ohio's secondary CTE programs and postsecondary programs.
