Work Experience and Career Exploration Program

This description of the Work Experience and Career Exploration Program (WECEP) includes background and amendments to federal child labor regulations, including student requirements and the purpose. WECEP allows 14- and 15-year-olds to work up to three hours during a school day, 23 hours per week and at specific jobs with approved variances.
